Councillor Linda Grooby

Personal Information

I currently work as an Administrator for a large local company. Throughout my life I have been involved in local organisations such as scouts, National Childbirth Trust, Residents Association and Swimming Groups.

I have children, grandchildren and a disabled husband – all of which give me an insight of life in our community.

I am a keen walker having walked the whole of the South West Coast, something I consider to be one of my lifetime achievements. I still keep fit and as well as possible being a member of a local gym.

Reasons for becoming a Councillor

I became a Councillor as I have always enjoyed helping others. I am a very active member of my local community and I love the town I live in and all those in it. I aim to help achieve the best lifestyle I can for all my residents and the wider population of Derbyshire.
