To provide an update on organisations supported through the Public Health Covid-19 Community Response Fund.

b)Agrees to continue to delegate authority to the Director of Public Health to approve awards of no more than £2,000 to individual organisations; and
c)Agrees to receive details of further recipient organisations on a quarterly basis.

12/01/2022 - Acceptance of funding from Derby City Council’s Transforming Cities Project ref: 243    Recommendations Approved

To seek the Cabinet Member’s approval to accept funding from the Derby City Council Transforming Cities Fund to pay for upgrades to bus stop infrastructure and to include this work in the future capital infrastructure programme.

a)   Agree to accept the £426,400 in capital funding being offered by Derby City Council from the Transforming Cities Fund to upgrade the bus stop infrastructure along the route from Long Eaton to Borrowash. 

 

b)   Agree that the Collaboration Agreement with Derby City Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council be signed by an authorised signatory the Council to allow the funding to be released. 

 

c)   Agree to include the bus stop improvement scheme between Long Eaton and Borrowash in the 2022-23 capital programme.

To summarise those Highway Technical Policy, Plans and Strategies updates and approvals that have occurred since the Cabinet Report on 26 July 2018 and request that all highways technical policy, plans and strategies approvals and updates be delegated to the Director Highways from the Executive Director - Place and the Cabinet Member for Highway Assets and Transport.

d)   Agree that in certain circumstances, where a broader level of engagement and scrutiny is required, the Executive Director - Place and Cabinet Member will be consulted to agree the necessary action and approvals process.
