Personal information

Following 10 years of service in the Army, during which I was trained as an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer, I have had a wide and varied career. This involved senior management and Board level positions in Technology orientated businesses, including running international subsidiaries of global companies.

Although my days of being actively involved in martial arts are now behind me, I now enjoy the occasional round of golf, watching Formula 1 motor racing and spending lots of time with my wife and family, including my three gorgeous grandchildren.

Reasons for becoming a Councillor

After a long and fulfilling military and commercial career, during which time I spent a great deal of time travelling and working away from home, I thought it would be fulfilling to put something back into the community. I wanted to be able to help people vulnerable and less fortunate than myself, in the community where I live.
