Derbyshire County Council
I was elected to Derbyshire County Council in May 2017 to represent Ilkeston East, the area I have grown up in.
I have recently finished a History degree at Loughborough University. As well being a Councillor, I serve on several local charities and I am a school Governor.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, music and travel.
Reasons for becoming a Councillor
I decided to become a Councillor simply to make a difference. I also felt it was important that there was a voice for younger people on the Council. I am particularly keen to see the Council working to help give children and young people a good start in life whilst also working to make Derbyshire a thriving County for years to come by promoting all the business and tourism opportunities it has to offer.
I am always available to respond to queries from residents by phone or email.
Additionally, I hold residents surgeries on the last Thursday of every month at Cotmanhay People’s Centre from 1 – 3 pm.
