Personal information
I live locally in the area with my wife and young family. I have worked for a number of MPs as a Caseworker – helping local people to resolve issues. I also have a strong interest in children and young people’s issues and education and I take my responsibilities as a Cabinet Member for Education very seriously.
I have many local priorities such as protecting the green belt, opposing fracking locally, tackling speeding, improving road and pavement surfaces and keeping in touch with residents all year round.
Reasons for becoming a Councillor
I’ve always been active in the community and I enjoy helping people to resolve local issues. I’ve previously served as a Parish, Town and District Councillor and I enjoy the challenge of trying to improve services for local residents, while maintaining good value for money.
