I was educated at Clifton Primary School followed by Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, both of which are in Ashbourne. I have worked in various places throughout my life:
J.C. Walwyns 1979-1987
Empire’s Club Steward 1987-1989
Ashbourne Golf Club 1989-1990
The Wheel Inn (Ashbourne) 1990- to present (this is my own
business).
I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy spending my time dog walking, aside from this I support Derby County and follow football closely.
Reasons for becoming a Councillor
I decided to become a Councillor to help the residents in the town of which I have lived and worked all my life. I wanted to give something back to the community and represent them at all Council levels.
