Future funding and commissioning arrangements for the Raising Aspirations Project

To seek approval from Cabinet for
a) Explore further options to commission a service for the provision of children and young people at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) alongside the planned move of the Education Improvement Team to Public Health in 2024/25.
b) Award £0.115m grant funding for a further 12 months to Bolsover District Council, to deliver the Raising Aspirations project, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026. This will allow time for the cross team working to develop the commissioning approach and enable any procurement required to take place.
c) Fund the Raising Aspirations project from the main Public Health Grant, rather than top slice from the Localities budget.
