Reason for urgency:
The Council is unable to publish details of the key decision 28 clear days in advance because, on August 1st we received confirmation that a bid of £780k to Arts Council England to fund Derbyshire Makes, the Derbyshire Festival of Making was successful. The award letter states that the award offer needs to be accepted within 1 month, otherwise it will be withdrawn.

Without the Arts Council funding the Derbyshire Makes project will not be able to proceed, and that the objective to use the Cultural Recovery Fund as ‘clean match’ would not be achieved. This would also mean that a council plan key action could not be delivered.
