Award of Contracts for Tendered Local Bus Services (PTU 221)

To seek approval, under Protocol 3 of the Council’s Financial Regulations, an Urgent Decision to award 60 Local Bus contracts; of which 49 contracts are for a period of three years with the option to extend for a further period of two years, taking the contracts up to a maximum of five years, and another 9 contracts for up to 12 months only. In addition to note that a further 2 contracts of up to 12 months are still subject to a tender process following non-compliant bids, and a further report on these will be presented later to the Executive Director - Place.
