Development of a partnership approach to the commissioning of physical activity provision in Derbyshire
This report seeks to agree a
“partnership agreement” with Active Partners Trust,
also know as Active Derbyshire, and current providers, including
district and borough councils and Shift, who deliver Exercise by
Referral, Walk Derbyshire, a programme for Looked after Children
and Jog Derbyshire. To achieve the aims and objectives of the
council to improve service deliver by maximising and sharing
resources. Specifically to develop a more integrated approach to
physical activity across the county and develop a more varied offer
of activities and choice.
