To advise Cabinet of the Council’s
relevant duties (including environmental), recommended process, and
draft programme to prepare an new Local Transport Plan for the
County. The report will also advise of the Plan’s emerging
strategic objectives and delivery themes and request approval to
undertake a public consultation to validate these. The report will
also recommend acceptance of a Government grant which has been
offered to the Council to support preparation and development of a
new Local Transport Plan, and seek approval to how this will be
allocated to associated work packages.
