b)           Agrees to continue to delegate authority to the Director of Public Health to approve awards of no more than £2,000 to individual organisations.

c)           Agrees to receive details of further recipient organisations on a quarterly basis.

25/05/2022 - Acceptance of the Local Transport Fund Grant from the Department for Transport Provided in Respect of Socially Necessary Bus Services ref: 449    Recommendations Approved

To seek approval from the Cabinet Member to accept the Local Transport Fund (LTF) grant from the Department for Transport (DfT) of £1,040,961 which is provided under Section 31 of the Local Government Act, 2003. This funding is provided to English Local Transport Authorities (LTAs) for the provision of bus services which require local authority support, including tendered bus services and, for applicable areas, light rail/tram services (not relevant to Derbyshire). The funding is provided solely for these two transport services. LTAs will receive a single combined Grant for both transport modes, which LTAs will have autonomy over allocating.

20/05/2022 - Award of additional grant funding to Derby County FC Community Trust and Chesterfield FC Community Trust for the provision of Tier 2 Adult Weight Management Services ref: 447    Recommendations Approved

24/05/2022 - Healthy Workplaces Derbyshire Marketing Project ref: 448    Recommendations Approved

This report seeks approval from the Cabinet Member for Health and Communities to:

i. Agree to commission an external provider to be awarded up to £100,000 to deliver a marketing strategy and plans which will be evaluated and updated over a 2 year period to increase brand awareness and generate enquires and sales.
ii. Approve the procurement for the marketing project under protocol 5 with delegated approval of the recommended supplier to the Director of Public Health.

To inform the Cabinet Member of the award of the Headley Fellowship to a staff member at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG).

12/05/2022 - Derbyshire County Council Woodland Festival – Three Year ref: 441    Recommendations Approved

To seek the Cabinet Member’s approval to formalise the Council’s commitment to stage the Woodland Festival for a further period of three years from 2022 to 2024 inclusive and to approve a suite of special event car parking charges for the Derbyshire County Council Woodland Festival, Elvaston Castle Country Park in September 2022.

b) Approves the suite of special event car parking charges, as set out in the report, at the Derbyshire County Council Woodland Festival at Elvaston Castle Country Park on 17 and 18 September 2022.
c) Notes that a further report will be prepared for consideration during 2022-23 that sets out proposals for introducing new commercial arrangements for the 2023 Woodland Festival.
