12/01/2022 - Acceptance of funding from Derby City Council’s Transforming Cities Project ref: 243    Recommendations Approved

To seek the Cabinet Member’s approval to accept funding from the Derby City Council Transforming Cities Fund to pay for upgrades to bus stop infrastructure and to include this work in the future capital infrastructure programme.

a)   Agree to accept the £426,400 in capital funding being offered by Derby City Council from the Transforming Cities Fund to upgrade the bus stop infrastructure along the route from Long Eaton to Borrowash. 

 

b)   Agree that the Collaboration Agreement with Derby City Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council be signed by an authorised signatory the Council to allow the funding to be released. 

 

c)   Agree to include the bus stop improvement scheme between Long Eaton and Borrowash in the 2022-23 capital programme.
