To seek the Cabinet Member’s approval to formalise the Council’s commitment to stage the Woodland Festival for a further period of three years from 2022 to 2024 inclusive and to approve a suite of special event car parking charges for the Derbyshire County Council Woodland Festival, Elvaston Castle Country Park in September 2022.

That the Cabinet Member:

a) Approves the Council’s commitment to arrange the Woodland Festival each September during 2022, 2023 and 2024.
b) Approves the suite of special event car parking charges, as set out in the report, at the Derbyshire County Council Woodland Festival at Elvaston Castle Country Park on 17 and 18 September 2022.
c) Notes that a further report will be prepared for consideration during 2022-23 that sets out proposals for introducing new commercial arrangements for the 2023 Woodland Festival.

To ask the Cabinet member to confirm the nominations of persons to serve as local authority school governors.

That Cabinet Member confirm that the nominations for persons to serve as local authority governors as set out in Appendix 2

The purpose of this report is to seek approval for the outline spending plans for Derbyshire County Council’s allocation of the Household Support Fund Grant Extension of £5.4m. The report also seeks permission for the delegation of authority to the Director of Public Health in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Director of Children’s Services. This will allow the Council to respond flexibly and effectively to any challenges, risks and opportunities that occur during the grant period and maintain our ability to swiftly distribute funds to vulnerable residents.

To obtain approval for the submission of a package of transport actions to Chesterfield Borough Council for its consideration and inclusion within an Action Plan to maintain air quality levels in accordance with National Air Quality objective level within the declared A619 Brimington Air Quality Management Area. Also, to approve the acceptance of a £30,000 contribution from the Chesterfield Borough Council Community Infrastructure Levy towards implementation of Action 1 as set out in this report.

That the Cabinet Member:
a)Approves the submission of the actions set out in this report to Chesterfield Borough Council to be considered for inclusion within the A619 Brimington Air Quality Management Area Action Plan.
b)Approves the acceptance of a £30,000 contribution from the Chesterfield Borough Council Community Infrastructure Levy towards implementation of Action 1.
