14/10/2021 - Review Of Urgent Officer Decisions Taken To Support Covid-19 Response ref: 157    Recommendations Approved

The purpose of the report is to provide the Cabinet Member with an update in relation to those actions which were the subject of Officer’s Decisions utilising emergency decision making powers as detailed in the constitution and to provide assurance in relation to the reviews which have been undertaken.

The Cabinet Member for Adult Care:

a) Note the latest position following the review of decisions made under urgent delegated powers arising from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

b) As there are now 2 decisions remaining which were made under the urgent delegated powers that require reviewing, it is recommended that both the Executive Director for Adult Social Care and Health and the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care review these decisions on a monthly basis only.

08/10/2021 - Section 278 Agreement – Sheffield Road, Chesterfield ref: 148    Recommendations Approved

To seek the Cabinet Member’s approval to waive the requirement for a Guarantee Bond with regard to proposed works at Sheffield Road, Chesterfield which are to be undertaken by Chesterfield Borough Council within the existing highway pursuant to a Section 278
Agreement under the Highways Act 1980.

08/10/2021 - Objections to the Proposed A6096 Ilkeston to Derby City Boundary (30mph and 50mph Speed Limit) Order 2021 ref: 147    Recommendations Approved

Following consideration of this report, the Cabinet Member is asked to:
• Refuse the objections to the Speed Limit Order.
• Make the Speed Limit Order, as advertised.
