Following notification from the Police and Crime Commissioner of her intention to appoint the preferred candidate Thomas Spray to the role of Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, for the panel to hold a Confirmation Hearing in accordance with Schedule 1 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.

To move “That under Regulation 21 (1)(b) of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (England)  Regulations 2000, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph(s)… of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972”

Panel members to be given the opportunity to discuss the proposed

appointment and agree their decision and make recommendations to the Police and Crime Commissioner.
