Purpose:

To inform Cabinet of the capital funding allocated to the Constituent Council which will from of the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) for the financial year 2022-23. The report will also outline the proposed process by which funding will be approved.

Decision:

RESOLVED to:

 

1)   Approve the receipt of funding on behalf of Constituent Councils, Derbyshire County Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Derby City Council and Nottingham City Council, who form part of the East Midlands Combined County Authority if approved by all 4 Councils and Government; and

 

2)   Note that the Council, as the accountable body for the funding, will be responsible for administering the grant to projects approved by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
